Porteous Mackintosh Tulip and Lattice Porcelain Tile
High glaze Art Nouveau tile with light and dark blue background and a great crazing in the light blue glaze. This is one of the most famous designs by Charles Rennie Mackintosh of the Glasgow School of Art. The original design is found in Glasgow at the Hill House as a stained glass and was also produced as a textile design beginning in 1915. Tile is porcelain and measures 6" X 6".
